[Travelers] 01-05 Joe’s Promotion

Although the babies were having a blast, Joe and Avery were going crazy without proper time to sleep, eat or be together. They tried their best to juggle everything and find time for their hobbies.

Kezune felt quite lonely during this time as he had to fight for attention. Even though there were days that he was really forgotten, Joe tried his best to give his old pal some time.

Tristan’s second birthday was on the corner but it was the first he would have with his new parents. Joe and Avery decided to thow a house party for the little boy.

The party was a great success! There were so many guests that Joe didn’t have any cake.

One of their friends was pregnant. There would be more life in Sunset Valley.

Tristan aged up to be a fine boy and Joe read a book for him at bedtime.  The little fellow had a lot of fun. He needed to rest well because he was going to school the following day.

He woke up early enough to have breakfast and play with the dog. After that, Joe gave him a ride to school.

Once he had arrived from school, he got astonished. His favorite toy, Peanut, started to feel real and it revealed her true identity.

“WOW!” Tristan thought “It’s a magical doll!”. What a great surprise! They played a little, but being a child had some responsibilities and Tristan decided to work on his homework before getting to know his new friend.

Meanwhile, Shane still had a lot to do in order to become a child.

Both his parents and his older brother were eager to see the little baby grow.

Joe had also achieved his main goal and he became the Star News Anchor of Sunset Valley Newspaper. He told the news to Avery and both decided to go on a date to celebrate. After calling a babysitter to take care of the boys, they had dinner at the Bistro and caught a movie.

Now that he got to the top of this career, it was time to move again. Both missed Twinbrook and there was something important in that city. That was where Avery, Shane and Tristan were from and maybe, it would help the boys if they were raised there.

[Travelers] 01-04 Shane and Tristan McClatchey

After the wedding, Joe and Avery decided to move to Sunset Valley. Joe would have more opportunities to get to the top of the journalism career and Avery would be able to keep on working on his garden.

They chose to live in Modernehaus, an excellent abode on the road to the stadium.

The house was perfetc with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large swimming pool, a garage for two cars and a sunroom in the center. Avery created a beautiful garden at this spot.

It was like a honeymoon for them. They enjoyed themselves a lot.

Joe started working harder on his painting skill. He dreamed to be an Illustrious Artist and for that, he needed to produce more pieces of art.

Avery had to take care of Kezune and they became much closer friends.

They talked a lot. Avery felt it was time to give more meaning to their lives. They couldn’t give birth to children, but they could adopt a child in need.

Before calling the Adoption Service, Avery had browsed the internet to know more about how it works and their responsibilities.

They were watching TV when the social worker came with their son.

Tristan is the name of the boy. His parents were from Twinbrook and they died in a fire.  When Joe and Avery discovered that the little baby had a younger brother, they couldn’t let them separated. They called the Adoption Service once more and asked to adopt the sibling.

A few hours later, little Shane was in Avery’s arms and both boys were ready to have the best fathers they could ever have.

While Shane was still a little baby, Tristan received all the necessary attention and education to be raised well.

A few days later, Shane aged up to be a toddler and started receiving the same attention.

[Travelers] 01-03 Avery Smith

Joe was very happy with his single life, but now that he was an adult, it would be great if he could settle down with someone nice and have a family.

One day, he was visiting the Festival Grounds when he met a food merchant called Avery.

It was love at first sight. They talked for hours and Joe couldn’t lose the opportunity to get to know such attractive man. Avery seemed to be perfect for Joe. He was friendly and ambitious, but a little lazy. Avery was eager to have a family as well and work more on his cooking skill. He used to work at the local bar when he was very young and then he tried his luck at the nearby city, Bridgeport. It was too hard for him, that’s why, he returned to Twinbrook and was working as a festival merchant for a while. Once Avery was free, they went on a date and it ended in the comfort of Joe’s bedroom.

Winter was close but now Joe had someone to keep his nights warmer. They started dating and Avery moved into the house.

Kezune, the dog, grew up to be a fine staffordshire bull terrier. Joe was expecting a bigger dog when he adopted him, though. Kezune wasn’t the smartest dog in the world, but he tried hard. Joe taught him some tricks and he found a dinosaur skeleton.

Avery was into gardening and cooking and Joe was in a much higher position in the journalism career. Joe decided that it was the perfect time to propose to Avery.

It was another pleasant weekend when Joe asked Avery on a date. The boys ate dinner at the local bistro and then they visited the Festival Grounds. After that, Joe took his love to the bridge and made the proposal.

Of course Avery accepted. He was wishing for that for a while.

There was even a street musician playing his keyboard around giving the perfect atmosphere for the proposal. Joe and Avery were engaged and they had to get ready for the wedding itself. However, before that, a bachelor party was more than necessary.

They invited all his friends and closed the local bar. The party was pretty wild until six in the morning. Lenny invited some lifeguards to “save” the party. The two hunks stayed at the party until the end. Everybody had a great time.

A few days later, they set up the wedding at Port-A-Party Warehouse. The venue was very beautifully decorated and all the guests were very happy with the couple.

Everybody waited for the cake and then they left the party.

It was one of the happiest days for Joe and Avery McClatchey.

[Travelers] 01-02 Joe’s Single Life

Captain Johnson was a great dog but he was too old. He died a few weeks later.

Joe was devastated.

He was playing video-games with Lang and Justin at their house when The Grim visited his dog.

He befriended Justin because of a job. He had to interview the nerd for the newspaper. The interview was quite a success and they get along too well…

They had an affair and went on a few dates. However, for Justin, Joe was just a fling because he was interested in his neighbor, Blaise Kindle. Joe understood that and they kept on being great friends.

His birthday was very pleasant and he decided to throw the party at the local bar. Most of his friends attended the party, except for Lenny. Lenny was the first person Joe met in Twinbrook but their friendship was always complicated.

He continues to focus on his job, since he wanted to master his writing skill working as a journalist, and he changed his life a little. He moved to a bigger house and adopted a new dog, Kezune.

He's a clean slob.

He also decided to have a second tattoo.

He fainted again but this time, after thanking for the tattoo, the artist flirted with Joe shamelessly.

He didn’t like this very much. Betty was cute but he preferred other sort of company. Justin has showed him what was really good for him.
